DND Miniatures
Dungeons and Dragons (DND) is a tabletop role-playing-game that allows players to embark on grand fantastical quests within the imaginary “theatre of the mind”. I have served as “Dungeon Master” over several campaigns, through which I build and embellish on the world surrounding the players. I print models to facilitate the storytelling aspect of the game, to further immerse players in the world I create. These models are printed with an SLA resin printer for fine detailing.
Player Characters: I printed these models to represent my friends’ characters when playing DND.
Featuring (from left to right): Brock Lee - A dragonborn monk, Canon - A human fighter, Magnus - A half-orc ranger, Crimson - An elven thief
Owlbear: a mythical creature with the head of an owl and the body of a bear. Useful for a bossfight for one of the encounters in my DND group. (Featuring two towers and skeleton soldiers in the back left).
Remorhaz: a large centipede creature with a heated body and a hunger for creatures smaller than it. Was used as a final boss for my DND group.

I 3D-printed component holders that organizes and accommodates all components, with slide-on tabs to ensure no piece falls out (not shown)

Multi-Material Printing
I have assembled a multi-material unit that switches filaments hundreds of times during a print. This is useful for producing multi-colored models, or models with filaments of different chemical and physical properties
Character from the game Among Us. I used Meshmixer to combine 2 separate objects (character and headpiece), and to separate the EVA helmet shield from the rest of the body. Then I used the multi-material unit to print the whole model as one piece with multiple colored filaments.

Analog Clock
The clock below was was a simple combination of 3 separate pieces. The second and minute hands are connected to their own black frames, which create interesting patterns as the hands move around the clock

Nespresso Pod Holder
My wife and I enjoy nespresso lattes. To help with picking the perfect nespresso pod for the day, I 3D-printed this 2-piece nespresso pod holder, which rotates to show pods along all columns. There is also space in the middle for storage of extra pods.

Pagoda

The brown pagoda structure and four separate white frames with designs are printed with PLA filament
A small electronic tea candle is placed inside the pagoda
The frames are all lined with parchment paper to help diffuse the light and give it a more lantern-like appearance
Lithophanes
Lithophanes are pictures made of translucent material of varying thickness that are visible when light is shone through. Thicker portions of the model allow less light to pass through; thus, gradients of thicker-to-thin material create darker-to-brighter gradients within the image. I printed these with my FDM printer and translucent white filament.
